Definition: A gate, with proportions similar to a door, that provides secure privacy access to the rear of a property via the side of a building. It should be strong enough to deny unwanted access, and high enough to provide privacy.

I take great pride in all my gates. I considered them to be doors for outside rooms. Traditional through mortice and tenon joinery is used throughout, and close-boarded with tongue and groove (with 'V' detail) boards, for strength and beauty. All gates are available FULLY FRAMED (stonger and more "door like"), or BARE-FACED (much easier to make and more "gate like"). The choice is yours.
